Meet Our Director
Hi, I’m Omari Tucker, your center director at Oxford Academy! My journey in childcare began 7 years ago, starting as an assistant teacher working with toddlers and moving up from there. Earning a Master’s degree at Alabama A&M led me down a separate path briefly but I found myself back in childcare. In June of 2023 I joined Oxford Academy as the assistant director and was promoted early 2024 to Center Director.
I love developing relationships and serving families in my community. It gives me great joy to know that the work I’m doing every day is instilling great core values and providing a solid foundation for our future generations to build.
